Job Description
The Stepan Pasadena Plant has an opening for a Millwright / Rotating Equipment Specialist. The primary responsibility of the Millwright / Rotating Equipment Specialist is to provide support for
the maintenance of plant rotating equipment. This position is located in Pasadena, Texas.
Responsibilities include :
- Performs the repair, installation, and maintenance of rotating equipment including, pumps,
- compressors, mixers, engines, motors, and related equipment.
- Performs and provides oversight for rotating equipment component changes, such as seals,
- bearings, couplings, and other pump parts.
- Performs and / or provides oversight of various Preventive (PM) and Predictive (PdM) Maintenance
- tasks and functions, including alignment checks, oil analysis, and vibration rounds as part of the
- condition monitoring program for mechanical equipment.
- Executes job assignments in accordance with the daily schedule as prepared by the Maintenance
- Planner / Scheduler.
- Records measurements and data such as clearances and recommendations on log sheets and in the
- maintenance program.
- Executes and / or provides oversight of any emergency repair activity, as required.
