This role involves managing a portfolio of direct materials, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for direct materials to achieve business objectives.
- Manage Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and deliver cost savings through commercial and technical project management.
- Establish and maintain effective supplier relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for procurement initiatives.
- Lead negotiations and manage contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor market trends and conduct market intelligence to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on direct materials.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Finance, Operations/Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Salary : $82,000 - $125,000
