Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage retail sales effectively. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, assisting customers with their selections, and maintaining the overall appearance of the shop. This role also involves managing inventory and utilizing e-commerce platforms to enhance our sales.

Duties

• Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, and special events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs.
• Manage inventory by stocking supplies, monitoring product quality, and ensuring freshness of flowers.
• Utilize e-commerce platforms to promote products and manage online orders effectively.
• Communicate with customers regarding order details, delivery options, and any special requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficiency in daily operations.
• Engage in retail sales activities, including upselling products and managing transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to create visually appealing displays that attract customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in floral design is preferred; however, a willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Basic understanding of retail math to assist in inventory management and sales tracking.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members to ensure smooth operations.
