What you'll do

Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting processes for both the domestic and international businesses.

Perform the general ledger closing process to ensure the timely reporting of accurate financial information.

Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with GAAP

Perform variance analyses

Prepare account reconciliations

Identify issues as they arise to facilitate the monthly close process, as well as performing analytical reviews and variance analyses to ensure accuracy and completeness of month end reporting

Complete monthly and year-end management and audit schedules

Identify and resolve financial issues and communicating such issues to the Assistant Controller on a timely basis

Provide information for financial, statutory, retirement plan, and bank audits

Assist finance and non-finance departments with accounting and reporting issues and other ad hoc requests, and participate in finance related projects and initiatives as they arise.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in an accounting-related field

Proficiency in accounting / ERP software is preferred

3 years of progressive accounting experience preferred
