Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leasing, tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and financial management while ensuring compliance with local housing regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to property management.
Key Responsibilities:
Resident & Owner Relations:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and property owners.
· Address resident concerns, handle lease renewals, and ensure lease compliance.
· Maintain strong relationships with owners by providing regular updates and reports.
Leasing & Marketing:
· Advertise and market available rental properties to maximize occupancy.
· Conduct property showings, screen applicants, and facilitate lease signings.
· Develop pricing strategies based on market trends and demand.
Maintenance & Vendor Coordination:
· Coordinate routine and emergency maintenance, ensuring timely repairs.
· Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
· Conduct property inspections and enforce property standards.
Financial Management:
· Oversee rent collection, manage delinquencies, and handle eviction procedures when necessary.
· Assist with property budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
· Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive pricing and revenue growth.
· Process Owner Distributions and Accounts Payable
Operational Efficiency & Compliance:
· Ensure properties comply with all local, state, and federal housing laws.
· Maintain organized records of leases, tenant communications, and property reports.
· Implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and tenant satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Required: Experience in property management, real estate, or a related field.
· Strong knowledge of leasing, fair housing laws, and resident relations.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to manage multiple properties, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve.
· Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
