Duties and Responsibilities
- Types all correspondence and reports.
- Copies and distributes correspondence and reports.
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail.
- Prepares time reports for payroll.
- Requests scholarship checks and obtains Promissory Notes when check is released.
- Interviews all persons coming into office and directs them to the appropriate person or area.
- Answers phone, records messages and forwards to correct person.
- Serves as a resource for staff inquires.
- Maintains adequate office supplies.
- Maintains filing systems.
- Maintains record book of all minutes for the nursing departments.
- Maintains attendance records and notifies managers of potential problems.
- Maintains master file of all departments’ policy and procedure manuals.
- Maintains index to computer files.
- Maintains current licensure files and notifies Director of Nursing of approaching expiration dates.
- Maintains current scholarship files and promissory notes.
- Maintains chaplain call schedules.

Non-Essential Functions
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Attend regular staff meetings and in-services as needed.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
- May need to sit for up to 2-6 hours at a time
