Essential Duties:
1. Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems:
• Pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, drainage, and sewage
• School restrooms, kitchens, and water fountains
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems:
• Identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions in plumbing systems
• Use specialized tools to locate and resolve issues
3. Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing equipment to ensure proper functioning and reduce breakdowns
4. Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to complete tasks related to building systems, HVAC, and structural repairs
5. Maintain records of completed work, parts used, and future service needs for compliance and planning purposes
6. Ensure safe working conditions by adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations
7. Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to school operations
8. Participate in training and professional development as required by the district
9. Perform other duties as assigned
