Stephens Engineering Consultants, Inc. (STEPHENS) is searching for a full-time Regional Account Manager (RAM) based in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania metro area. The RAM is responsible for the execution of all client sales and marketing activities within an assigned territory (New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, eastern Pennsylvania, Washington DC, and Virginia) . The RAM will service STEPHENS's current clients as well as execute strategies / plans to expand the customer base in their assigned region. The RAM will report to the National Sales Director .
This is a home-based position with up to 50% travel. Residence in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania metro area is required. Daily reporting to an office will not be required.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Execute direct sales responsibility for the targeted region.
- Responsible for understanding the customer’s needs and positioning / promoting services that meet those needs.
- Builds strong relationships with customers / strategic contacts in the region.
- Maintains and develops those relationships.
- Ensures effective client communication.
- Ability to connect with clients (face to face, e-mails, phone calls, mailings, etc.)
- Collaborate with the National Sales Manager on sales plans, strategy, and market analysis.
- Executes sales strategies, initiatives, and marketing plans within the region.
- Sells all company services within the region.
- Focuses on sales prospecting efforts within the region.
- Works to achieve and exceed overall sales goals and sales activity standards.
- Collects insights on competition, clients, prospective clients, and industry trends.
- Works to achieve regional growth goals.
- Manage expenses to meet budget requirements.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes client entertainment events / activities.
