ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Senior Vice Presidents and Managing Directors are responsible for building and maintaining a successful practice. Key tasks include :

  • Identification and procurement of new client relationships
  • Management of existing client relationships
  • New idea generation and strategic thinking
  • Attend and lead client meetings, pitches and presentations
  • Deal team leadership and transaction oversight
  • Recruit, educate, and train junior investment bankers
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position has limited supervisor duties primarily consisting of the leadership of small teams.

    • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • 11 years of investment banking experience, or mixture of investment banking and private equity or corporate development experience
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills
  • Ability to manage client relationships and develop new business
  • Expertise in a given industry or product area
  • High energy with strong interpersonal, accounting and finance skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Commitment to working hard
  • Extraordinary focus on work quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in team environment

    • CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    The following registrations will be required within 6 months of employment :

  • SIE - Securities Industry Essentials
  • Series 7 - General Securities Representative
  • Series 63 - Uniform State Law Exam
  • Series 79 - Investment Banking Representative Exam
