Seeking several flexible repair techs and several rigid technicians, and needing to start as soon as possible.
The Endoscope Repair Technician is responsible for installations, repair and maintenance, and calibration of most classes of flexible and rigid endoscopes. The ideal candidates will have worked in the endoscopes field on either flexible or rigid, or both types.
A ccountable for installations, repairs, regular maintenance and calibration of most classes of flexible and inflexible endoscopes at the component level.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree, or relevant military training and experience.
- MUST have a MINIMUM 2 years qualified experience in the repair of endoscopes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Inspects devices to determine what type of repair and / or adjustment is requiredReplaces or repairs defective parts; reassembles medical devices or equipment and tests assembly for conformance to specificationsSoldering wires to printed circuit boardsAbility to assemble small parts and work under a microscope as neededUse a variety of small hand tools and test equipmentMaintains a proper work area, clean on a regular basisMaintains record-keeping as necessary to comply with policies and proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedAbides by Company Safety policies and proceduresEducation and / or Work Experience Requirements :High School diploma or equivalent; training can be provided as part of benefits.Willingness to listen and learn in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skills to operate test equipmentStrong communication to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management; both verbal and writtenPhysical Requirements :Mechanical aptitude, good hand / eye coordination and dexterityAbility to use a microscopeAble to sit or stand for long periods of timeCandidate resumes MUST have month and year of start and end dates for each position they have held.MUST have a VALID TX / US drivers’ license with no violations (7-10 years).Must apply and have TX DL within 30 days
MUST pass criminal background check (7-10 years) and drug screening.Candidates MUST provide a list of all equipment training – complete with month / year of training, OEM or school attended, dates attended and completion date.
