- Material Delivery:
- Leverage delivery software to manage delivery routes and schedule.
- Safely and efficiently deliver landscaping materials to clients' properties.
- Ensure accurate loading and unloading of materials, minimizing damage and waste.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Vehicle Operation and Maintenance:
- Operate company delivery vehicles (non-CDL trucks) in a safe and responsible manner.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicles are in good working order.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues in company software..
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company in a professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with clients.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Material Handling:
- Assist in loading and unloading materials at the yard and client property.
- Handle materials with care, minimizing damage and waste.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the yard and delivery vehicles.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent accidents.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all company procedures for safe loading and unloading.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and weekends as needed
