Additionally, the Specialist is responsible for helping to fulfill (process, load, and deliver) online bulk materials purchased. In the winter, the Specialist participates in snow removal, including plowing and shoveling.

The Yard and Delivery Specialist supports the Yard Supervisor in ensuring the safety, organization, and efficiency of yard operations, including material and equipment management. Key Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment & Delivery:
- Review online orders, prepare materials, and ensure accurate, timely delivery to clients.
- Place bulk materials at customer locations with care and precision.
- Yard Operations:
- Keep the yard clean, organized, and stocked with materials in the proper bins and locations.
- Unload incoming deliveries, log inventory, and manage storage.
- Maintain fuel and gas supplies, ensuring organization and readiness.
- Equipment & Maintenance:
- Conduct regular inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment for safety and functionality.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are cleaned, maintained, and stored properly.
- File incident reports or repair requests as needed.
- Team Support:
- Run materials to job sites and assist crews with tools or supplies.
- Provide safety topics for weekly staff meetings and uphold safety standards.
- Assist the Yard Manager in holding team members accountable for cleanliness and efficiency.
- Seasonal Duties:
- During winter months, participate in snow removal, including plowing and shoveling.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Proficient in inventory management and equipment handling.
- Skilled in operating tools, vehicles, and small engine equipment safely.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license; DOT Medical Certification, Forklift Certification, and OSHA 10 are preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Weekends as needed).
