What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vehicle Transport Specialist position at Stephex USA?
Stephex USA is a Belgium based company providing luxury horse transportation. This position entitles transporting 1-2 vehicles at a time on a flat trailer. Typically transporting vehicles to and from Orlando with occasional farther drives.
Must know how to pull a trailer
CDL License preffered
Drug test and background checks will be preformed
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and functionality.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding transport schedules and any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle conditions.
- Inspect paint quality of vans being picked up from paint.
- Maintain cleanliness in the company vehicle.
- Willing to do other tasks when not on the road such as washing cars.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
