What are the responsibilities and job description for the Call Taker (To Be Developed into a Dispatcher) position at Stepp's Towing?
Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport is looking for a Call Taker which is a front-line position that can be developed into a dispatcher. This position requires effective and timely communication directly with incoming phone calls, accurately processing and entering call information into the dispatch software system, while also delivering a high level of customer service to all phone inquiries.

Essential Functions:
- Receive and promptly answer emergency and non-emergency calls.
- Gather all required and pertinent information: Name and phone number, disablement location and drop address, vehicle info, cause of breakdown, etc.
- Perform duties of the Dispatcher Assistant in their absence as directed.

Required Skills:

- High School diploma.
Pay:
- $16 - $17
Schedule:
- Saturday and Sunday - 6:30 am - 3 pm / Monday to Wednesday - 2:30 pm - 11 pm
