What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lot Attendant position at Stepp's Towing?
Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport is looking to hire a Lot Attendant who will handle vehicle releases, vehicle inventory, and general office work. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, follow instructions as set forth by management, and have cash-handling and customer service experience.
Essential Functions:
- Greets customers at the cashier window pleasantly and professionally.
- Receives cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers; records the amount received.
- Process impoundment paperwork and maintain compliance with all requirements for the laws of towing and impoundment.
- Record customer information within our customer service database.
- Administrative and clerical duties.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements for the Position Include:
- Lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing, significant physical strength and stamina.
Required Skills:
- Experience in data entry and customer service.
- Hands-on experience working in stressful and/or emergencies.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Team player.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High School diploma
Pay:
- $16 - $17
Schedule:
- 4 - 10 hour shift (Day) - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Day off: Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday
