Hours: Variable and depend on case assignment, most cases are in the afternoons with about 20 hours per week, weekends may be available if desired.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Stepping Stones ABA. As a Behavior Assistant/ RBT, you will play a crucial role in providing one-on-one ABA therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders. Your primary responsibility will be to implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and contribute to the overall progress and development of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Client Support: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and clinic-based environments.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Accurately collect and record data on client behavior during therapy sessions. Collaborate with BCBAs to analyze data and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Follow individualized BIPs to address specific target behaviors and skill acquisition goals for each client.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients' families, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and progress monitoring.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized client records, including session notes, data sheets, and progress reports, in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in ABA therapy by attending training sessions, workshops, and pursuing ongoing RBT certification requirements.
- Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of clients during therapy sessions, including implementing crisis intervention strategies if necessary.
Qualifications:
- Preferred but not required to hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience working in ABA therapy under a BCBA is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
