Position: Toddler Teacher
Location: Aurora, Oregon (right off 99 E, inside Open Door Community Church)
Start Date: Immediate start for the right candidate

Job Description: As a member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences of children aged 18 month - 3 years old responsibilities will include:
- Implementation of Frog Street Toddler Curriculum into the daily classroom routine along with seasonal art projects.
- Cultivating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and respected.
- Facilitating social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Collaborating with colleagues and parents to meet each child's individual needs and interests.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting classroom conducive to learning and exploration.
- Assisting with closing duties that includes a mixed age classroom with students up to 8 years old.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year previous experience working with young children in a childcare center or early childhood education setting. (We cannot accept CNA work, Nanny, Babysitting, church nursery or jobs of that nature)
- Must have current Oregon Registry Background Check. (Will be required to bring proof to interview)
- Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Certification in early childhood education or relevant field preferred but not required.
Schedule: Must be available for any shift between 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Teachers work between 25- 32 hours a week depending on the needs of the center each week. As we grow we will have more hours available.
