What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Room Teacher position at Stepping Stones Learning Center?
```Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning
- Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Familiarity with special education strategies and techniques for supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active engagement and participation
- Experience working in a daycare or similar setting is preferred
- Physical education or tutoring experience is a plus
