What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Teacher position at Stepping Stones Preschool LLC?
Come work with us! Our teachers work with diverse population of children, families and staff to promote a safe, healthy environment where children can overcome obstacles, learn and grow. We are looking for teachers who are passionate about early childhood education, excellent communication skills and love to have fun at work. No weekends, nights or holidays. Pay is negotiable depending on experience.
- Must be able to get CPR certified.
- Pass background checks
- Get TB test and Physical completed by a physician
- Must complete 12 clock hours annually of early childhood classes
- Understand various developmental stages of young children.
- Be able to manage different learning styles in the classroom.
- Be able to deal with difficult situations that may come up while working with children.
- Love arts and crafts, music, and physical activity.
- Have excellent communication skills with children and parents.
- Work with other teachers in the classroom
- Clean classroom and common areas daily
- 8 hour shift with an hour break each day (most likely 8:30am-5:30pm)
After 120 days, employees are eligible for 5 paid days off. We also have 13 paid holidays annually.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.75 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
