Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of toddler-aged children.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Educate children on basic concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes through play-based activities.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress in various areas of development including social skills, language acquisition, and motor skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that promotes learning and safety.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Provide care for toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in ECE
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices is essential.
- Experience in Childcare setting
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
- A genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development.
