Certified Preschool Special Educator needed to complete Educational Observations on a as needed contract basis.
NYSED approved Evaluation Site is looking for an experienced, certified, Preschool Special Educator to complete classroom observations for students going through the CPSE Initial Evaluation Process. This Preschool Special Educator will work on a contract basis to complete the Observation portion of the Evaluation Process. Typically, this will entail 2 Observations a week. This will include the following to be completed within the necessary compliance timeline:
1. Scheduling observation time at the program the child is enrolled.
2. Meeting with the Classroom Teacher to discuss the reasons why the child was referred to CPSE
3. Observing the student during the school day in their classroom environment
4. Writing the Observation
5. Writing Educational Goals for the IEP
6. Writing Management Needs for the IEP
Requirements:
· Education--Master’s (Preferred)
· License/Certification--NYS Certification in Special Education N-21, Students with Disabilities Birth-2 Grade or Students with Multiple Disabilities Birth-2 Grade.
· Experience--At least 2 years experience in a Special Education Preschool Setting.

Compensation:
$150.00 per Educational Observation upon the completion of all required Paperwork
