What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy-Duty Wrecker Operator - Class A CDL - Experience Required position at Stepps Towing Service?
Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport is looking to add Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operators to our team! We are seeking candidates who possess a positive attitude, customer service skills, and problem-solving abilities. Heavy Duty Towing experience is required.
All drivers must be equipped with their own set of tools once you are assigned the truck.
No Slip Seating!
Essential Functions :
The ideal candidate must be able to do the following :
- Must have previous experience in operating Heavy Tow Trucks, Rollback, and Service Trucks to efficiently complete the job assigned.
- Respond to Florida's Traffic Incident Management Program, RISC, (Rapid Incident Scene Clearance).
- Work comfortably and safely at accident scenes in traffic and cooperate well with law enforcement to complete the job assigned.
- Communicate well with dispatchers and customers.
- Effectively operate GPS mapping
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Work in all weather conditions.

Heavy Duty Towing operators earn a 1% increase each year they're employed with Stepp's until they reach 30%.
