Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and store management.
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels for optimal store performance.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in the hiring process for new team members.
- Maintain inventory levels, assist with budgeting, and control expenses to maximize profitability.
- Communicate effectively with staff and customers, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Train new employees on store policies, procedures, and the use of POS systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role within a retail environment is preferred.
- Strong skills in shift management and the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Proficiency in cash handling and experience with cash registers or POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
