What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Bartender position at StepStone Hospitality Inc.?
The beautiful and historic Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced and motivated individual for the position of Banquet Bartender at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. This candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational & communication skills, a strong proficiency in multi-tasking with exceptional hospitality and guest service skills.
· Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks for guests and the service bar using proper measuring techniques
· Serve wine and other draught or bottled beer.
· Collect money for drinks and food served.
· Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display.
· Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
· Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in bar area.
· Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints.
· Use proper etiquette guidelines with guests.
· Practice and observe all serve-safe rules and procedures.
· Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.
· Assist in clearing pre-event areas and common areas of glasses and debris including basic cleaning
