We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for opening and closing the department, taking incoming calls, performing inventories, and maintaining lost and found items.
Responsibilities :
- Report to Housekeeping Office at the beginning of shift, pick up and sign out key, and return key when reporting to office at end of shift.
- Open and close the department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper including assignment of room boards, keys, and any other opening and closing requirements and inspect rooms.
- Take all incoming housekeeping calls and respond to guest’s needs.
- Perform inventories of supplies and order for par levels.
- Log all missing items and maintain catalog of lost and found and ship or mail out claimed items to the guests.
- Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work.
- Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to all guests and co-workers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
