Responsibilities
Join University Park Marriot as a Bartender at Wakara Bar! If you enjoy working with guests and providing a high level of service to thirsty patrons, join our dedicated team of hospitality professionals. Your responsibilities will include:
Schedule consists of SUNDAY to THURSDAY.
Shift consists of 3:30 PM to 11:30PM.
Must be available to work Weekends and/or Holidays.
Employees must comply with all occupational safety and health standards and regulations established by the Occupational Safety
and Health Act and state and local regulations.

- Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks for guests and the service bar.
- Serve wine and other draught or bottled beer.
- Collect money for drinks and food served.
- Order and requisition liquors and supplies.
- Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display.
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
- Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in bar area.
- Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints.
- Use proper etiquette guidelines with guests.
- Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures.
- Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.

Must be available to work Weekends and/or Holidays.
- Relevant training and experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to obtain applicable state licenses and/or certificates.
- Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of peers and co-workers.
- Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
- Hearing, writing, typing.
- Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
