The Le Meridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel is currently seeking dynamic and service-oriented individuals for the position of Lounge Attendant to join our team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. The Le Meridien Sheraton Hotel, located in Uptown Charlotte, is a 690-room dual complex with 65,000 sq. ft of meeting and conference space.
As a Lounge Attendant, you will approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-oriented manner. The primary role of this person will be to ensure the Club Lounge is a warm and inviting area for guests.
Schedule is 2:30pm to 10pm and pay is $17/ hour

Responsibilities To Include
- Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner and assist host or hostess in seating guests as needed.
- Present items in the Club Lounge to members.
- Memorize menu selections and wines including being familiar with daily specials and basic ingredients.
- Use proper verbiage and etiquette while interacting with members.
- Fully stock Club Lounge with amenities i.e. drinks, snacks, food etc.
- Relay order to kitchen and service bar utilizing point of sale system
- Observe members to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed for members.
- Total bill and accept payment or refer members to cashier.
- Ladle soup, portion pies and desserts, and brew coffee.
- Clear and reset counters or table at conclusion of each course.
- Assist in cleaning and wiping down of service areas and prep areas.
- Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures.
- Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.
- Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to problem solve when situations arise.
- Great customer service/ guest service skills
- AM and PM availability
- Ability to track inventory, stock goods and keep a clean and organized wort area.
Salary : $17
