CNC Operator
Overview:
STER Seating LLC is looking for a detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our team at our EXTON, PA manufacturing facility. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines to fabricate precision components critical to our seating solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Follow and enforce all safety, health, quality, and company policies.
- Set up and operate CNC machinery according to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to produce components to precise dimensions.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machines.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to troubleshoot and improve processes.
Qualifications
- Certification or degree in machining or CNC operation from an accredited institution preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience operating CNC machines.
- Familiarity with G-code and M-code programming.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under deadlines.
