Position Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of a polymer extrusion line used to create tubing for production and R&D

Essential Responsibilities:
•Responsible for all aspects of the polymer extrusion line, including but not limited to; set-up and tear down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and work flow.
•Work with production personnel and R&D to ensure extruded tubing meets requirements and make adjustments as required.
•Provide extrusions in a timely manner in order to ensure production and R&D schedules are met.
•Work with outside vendors to develop tooling and fixtures that result in producing high quality product.
•Manage raw extrusion materials in a way that ensures traceability and prevents contamination.
•Generate documentation on extrusion runs that is used to control traceability and ensure reproducibility.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:
•High School diploma
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in hands on extrusion of medical grade tubing
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Medical Device manufacturing environment
•Must possess good organizational skills
•Must be proactive and show initiative in taking on and completing extrusion projects
•Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
