Steri Technologies is looking for a Project Engineer to play a critical role in bolstering Steri’s commitment to growth and customer service.
Role and Responsibilities
This individual will be responsible for supporting the company by:
- Implementing detailed design and inputting data into ERP Software.
- Assisting in execution of filtration machines that comply with the client’s specifications by providing operations with technical support.
- Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget.
- Oversee project documentation execution, including reports, plans, and specifications.
- Creating and reviewing fabrication/assembly drawings using CAD.
- Participate in design review of systems to review manufacturability
- Monitoring project compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, and specifications.
- Assist engineering team with 3D modeling creation and design validations.
- Participate in lab testing to assist in product selection and model validation.
- Developing and utilizing mathematical models used to streamline engineering activities.
- Present and host meetings with project team and/or client.
- Developing BOMs and entering build into the ERP system.
- Review client specifications to identify potential design challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Preparation of reports and technical documentation such as design packages, Gantt charts, failure mode analysis reports, root cause analysis, and instruction & operating manual.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or relevant Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Knowledge of ERP software.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a good working knowledge of 2D CAD (AutoCAD) 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor), and Microsoft Office.
- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communicator; Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate to multiple levels of shop & office personnel.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be very knowledgeable in assembly sequences and methodologies for manual
- (hands-on) assembly systems.
- Able to travel, typically 1-2 trips per quarter, up to < 50%
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
