What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Supervisor II position at Steri-Tek?
The Operations Supervisor II position is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to Operations team members; scheduling the workforce to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time; plans production activities; and ensures effective communication within, as well as with, all departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Supervise all operations staff daily
- Make sure customer orders are filled on time and are completed without errors
- Schedule production and warehouse activities based on customer demand and feedback from other departments daily
- Proactively solve daily problems focusing on long term, robust solutions
- Document and measure daily production & warehouse activities
- Provide performance feedback to all production and warehouse employees as well as deliver team member performance reviews, counseling / discipline.
- Ensure that employees comply with all safety procedures and company policies
- Act as owner of team equipment including correct usage, and preventative maintenance.
- Learn each operational task and facilitate training of new employees to complete these tasks correctly
- Lead daily line up meetings for operations
- Participate in Daily QRQC meeting
- Foster an attitude of responsibility and ownership
- Perform other duties as needed or required
