Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate molds for production
- Assemble and disassemble molds as needed
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accurate mold dimensions
- Fabricate and modify molds as required
- Perform basic math calculations for mold adjustments
- Utilize hand tools and equipment for mold maintenance and repairs
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize mold changeover times
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Mold Setter or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
