Service Technician Position

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Specialist to join our team at Steris Corporation. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients in the field of sterilization equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pro-actively communicate with customers to resolve issues and provide preventative cleaning services.
• Perform thorough cleaning of sterilizers, including changing chemicals, monitoring pressures, and maintaining equipment.
• Work closely with scheduling teams, supervisors, and customers to plan efficient service routes and ensure coverage standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and consult with experts as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting using company software.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of work experience, with at least 1 year in a technical or service-related field.
• Customer service experience is essential.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, with up to 75% travel overnight.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer skills and smartphone use.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
