DAYTIME ROLE
Work Hours: 6:45 am to 7:00 pm, with some weekends. Week 1: On Mon & Tues, Off Wed & Thurs, On Fri-Sun Week 2: Off Mon & Tues, On Wed & Thurs, Enjoy a 3-day Weekend!
Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
Cultivating a work floor environment targeting Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives through lean practices.
Facilitating daily briefings to motivate teams and ensure safety measures are in place.
Providing both individual feedback and group insights to enhance operational performance.
Initiating lean improvements and participating in strategic facility initiatives.
Leading first-response efforts to resolve quality and safety challenges.
Encouraging employee participation and growth by integrating Lean systems.
Ensuring healthy employee relations by nurturing a supportive workplace environment.
Overseeing recruitment, equipping teams with necessary skills, and handling employee performance.
Working closely with Quality and HR teams to support audits and maintain high standards.
What You Bring:
Essential:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years in a production setting with STERIS or 5 years in a similar environment.
- Proficient in operating forklifts.
- Willingness to learn medical instrument sterilization techniques.
- Basic production-related math skills and communication proficiency.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
Desired:
- Higher education in a related field
- Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments
- Prior supervisory experience and equipment operation certification
