Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with at least 5 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA development, specifically within the PM (Plant Maintenance), SM (Service Management), and PS (Project Systems) modules. The ideal candidate will develop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) while collaborating with functional consultants and business analysts to deliver robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) in PM, SM, and PS modules.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and design technical solutions.
- Implement custom functionalities, user exits, BADIs, and enhancements to improve system performance.
- Debug and troubleshoot ABAP programs, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain IDOCs for seamless integration between SAP and external systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all developments and enhancements.
- Optimize existing code and processes to enhance SAP system performance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience, specifically in PM, SM, and PS modules.
- Strong expertise in RICEF development within SAP modules.
- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of ABAP code.
- Proficiency in IDOCs development and maintenance for system integration.
- Knowledge of SAP enhancement frameworks (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Points).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
