Requirements:
The ability to understand and relate technical issues to the service team from customers' non-technical descriptions.
Develop cost estimates, logging needed parts and time needed for repairs.
Schedule the right Service Technician for each job.
Convey all necessary information regarding costs, parts, work and technicians to customers.
Communicate with the customer for service tickets.
Computer literacy and knowledge of the automotive software AllData.
Ordering parts and organizing service tickets.
Proven work experience as a service writer.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong record keeping skills.
Preferred experience using ShopWare!
