Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicles under the supervision of a qualified technician
- Assist with disassembling and reassembling vehicle components
- Support technicians in conduction comprehensive vehicle inspections
- Record diagnostic findings, safety concerns, and maintenance recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored
- Ongoing requirement to complete any mandatory certifications and training provided by the dealership and stay up to date with new technology
- Must follow all dealership and industry standard safety policies and procedures
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience working in a professional automotive setting is required
- Strong interest in the automotive industry and vehicle system and a willingness to learn
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems (engines, transmissions, brakes, etc.) is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform manual tasks
- Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background check & drug screen
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and be at least 18 years of age due to insurance purposes
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required
