Sterling Automotive Group is hiring! We are looking for outgoing individuals who take pride in serving Acadiana and being a part of a successful family-owned and operated business.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for dealership guests, playing a pivotal role in creating a positive and welcoming experience. Your primary responsibilities include greeting customers, managing incoming calls, and representing the company with professionalism and warmth. Additionally, you will assist daily as a backup for the Service/Parts Cashier, processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests, directing them to the appropriate department or individual
- Manage and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, ensuring calls are answered, screened, and transferred appropriately
- Provide accurate and relevant information to customers over the phone
- Assist the Sales and Administrative teams with light clerical duties
- Provide backup support for the Cashier position, as needed
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring necessary supplies are readily available.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of company matters and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
We are seeking a motivated team player with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- A professional demeanor and appearance, with excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management abilities and a coachable attitude.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and at least three years of driving experience (or a minimum age of 21).
- A high school diploma or equivalent education.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM
