About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Sterling Care Hillhaven. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care to residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and providing assistance with daily living activities.
- Leadership and Training: Supervise Geriatric Nurse Aides and other staff members, ensuring they receive proper training and support.
- Collaboration and Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve care quality by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
Required Qualifications
- Current State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- CPR certification
- 1 year of experience as a R.N. or L.P.N. in a long-term care setting (preferred)
