Pile Buck/ Pile Driver

Pile Buck responsibilities and abilities include but are not limited to the list below.

• Examines blueprints to determine dimensions of structure and jobsite layout.
• Lays out worksite as needed.
• Determines sequence of activities concerned for piling installation.
• Assigns workers to daily tasks and manages production.
• Provide signals to cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment
• Drive pilings for retaining walls, bulkheads, and foundations of structures, such as buildings, bridges, and piers
• Effectively position and operate power hammers to drive pilings
• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, or stick arc welding equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and refill equipment.
• Drive pilings to provide support for buildings or other structures, using heavy equipment with a pile driver head.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in tele-handler or rough-terrain forklift operation
• 4 years of experience working with cranes
• 4 years of experience working with, maintaining and inspecting pile hammers, leads, lifting cables, and slings.
• 4 years of experience in welding and cutting
• 3 year of being 3G & 4G certified for welding (Stick, wire)
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs
• Crane Certifications is a plus but not required
