Our therapy department is fully in-house and provides therapists/assistants with flexibility. We offer 250% matching for retirement and is fully vested in 8 years if full time employee. 75% of health insurance premiums are paid for if full time employee. Daily gas reimbursement is available.
Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Responsibilities:
Helps residents by providing rehabilitative services to persons with mental, physical, psychosocial, and/or developmental impairments under the direction/supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
Maintains expected productivity/efficiency set by the Director of Rehab or Administrator.
Monitors therapy services to make sure they are performed correctly and provides encouragement when necessary.
Maintains patient occupational therapy records by recording resident’s progress and daily notes.
Generates revenue by recording billing information of services rendered.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following facility policies and procedures.
Helps keep therapy equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
Serves and protects the occupational therapy practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
Enhances occupational therapy practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Current Texas licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
