What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sheet Metal Worker - Day Shift position at Sterling Custom Sheet Metal Inc?
Sterling Custom Sheet Metal is seeking Production Workers for immediate hire. This role consists of sheet metal fabrication processes on a production line. Knowledge of metal forming and cutting equipment is preferred. Pay range of $16 to $25 will be determined by level of experience and ability to adapt and learn. After 60 days we will meet to evaluate your performance. Bilingual is a plus.
Production Worker Responsibilities Include:
- Assemble sheet metal goods on a production line.
- Monitor quantities during the production process.
- Perform work safely, accurately and efficiently.
- Achieve daily production goals.
- Must be punctual and report to work on time.
- Maintain quality and efficiency during all fabrication processes.
- Stage components and raw materials in an orderly fashion.
- Practice good housekeeping in work areas.
Production Worker Skills Required:
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Ability to work/adapt to a demanding and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted, bend and twist.
- Be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation.
Experience is preferred but not required - Training will be provided. Candidates that have a good work ethic and want to be part of a growing team will be successful!
