Location : Merced, CA
Hire Type : Direct Hire
Salary : $90k-$105k / hr. ( Based on experience)
Bonus : 10%

Sterling Engineering is looking for an Automation Engineer for a growing manufacturer in Merced, CA that is building out new product lines and breaking innovative barriers in the packaging space. Job Duties :
- Analyze automation systems using PLC software and other company-provided tools.
- Design, develop, and improve automation systems.
- Test, debug, and integrate automation systems with existing factory hardware.
- Write and update system documentation, providing user training.
- Ensure automation activities comply with regulatory standards.
- Identify automation opportunities and develop specifications for new systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot automation issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve processes and ensure quality.
- Develop and implement safety and quality control procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new automation technologies.
