Maintenance Technician sought for a long-term contract position at Sterling Engineering, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment, assessing and implementing necessary repairs, and supporting machine repair technicians.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct routine maintenance inspections and repairs to injection molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment
* Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
* Document PM's according to required process and documents
* Review and approve completed work before release
Qualifications
* Associate's degree or equivalent in vehicle maintenance or related field preferred
* Proficient in basic math and reading skills, including use of decimals, fractions, and geometry
* Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic blueprints/schematics
* Knowledge of computers, equipment, tools, and paperwork associated with job
