The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production and facility equipment. They will be responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment, buildings, offices, and grounds. The successful candidate will have basic knowledge of PLC programming and experience with CMMS systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the quality, legality, and safety of products and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure equipment operates safely and machine guarding is in place.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment, buildings, offices, and grounds.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.
- Skill to create notifications and input time on work orders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal training in mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing techniques.
- Experience in the food industry.
