Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform skilled work in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
- System Monitoring: Monitor the performance of heating, cooling, and related systems by interpreting energy management system alarms and temperature and pressure differentials; troubleshoot problems and make necessary adjustments.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on various production equipment/
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.
- Documentation: Utilize a work order system to log activities and maintain accurate records of maintenance performed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required.
- Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints; strong communication skills for effective interaction with faculty, staff, and students.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks that may include lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in various environmental conditions.
