Function : Manufacturing Production / Distribution
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- General knowledge required in mechanics (gears, bearings, pulleys, belts, etc.), pneumatics and electric drives to effectively perform various duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance service.
- Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Performs mechanic skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust.
- Will use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Ability to comply with all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Machine set-up experience required.
- All other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Salary : $25-31 / hr
