Title : Boring Mill Operator

Location : Sidney, NE

Hire Type : 90-day contract to hire

Hours : Mon-Fri, 5am-3 : 30pm; Saturdays 8-10 hours (as needed)

Hourly Rate : $30-33.00

Job Summary : Basic machining and precision measuring techniques. This position requires proficiency in operating a manual boring mill, interpreting blueprints, and using precision measuring tools to ensure accurate machining.

Job Duties :

• Operate and set up a manual boring mill to machine parts to precise specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and ID measuring devices
• Accurately measure inside diameters (ID) using C-Mic, Stick Mic, or ID Mic
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
