Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project management, sales, and accounting teams to define product scope and assist in estimating new projects.
- Lead the oversight of innovative product designs ensuring technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership in technical problem-solving and engineering decision-making.
- Develop, manage, and update engineering KPIs including maintaining performance tracking tools.
- Conduct cost-to-complete exercises for assigned projects and assist with project estimating.
- Oversee engineering resource planning and scheduling integrating inputs into production systems.
- Ensure projects are completed within or below estimated targets.
- Support and uphold quality management systems.
- Mentor and develop the engineering team through formal training and professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams throughout all project phases.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed for site visits and vendor assessments.
- Work with vendors to enhance product quality improve delivery and drive cost reductions.
