Overview :

Specialize in the development of complex mechanical machines and assemblies for new and existing customers. Contribute by meeting or exceeding customer expectations, improving organizational efficiencies and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

• Manage specific designs to deliver commitments with a focus on customer specifications and requirements and 100% on-time delivery.
• Perform high level engineering calculations for product design analysis, servo motor sizing, and production / process analysis.
• Participate, refine and complete designs after engineering and general design review meetings.
• Ensure that customer approval drawings are complete, checked, and submitted to meet the required schedule.
• Release drawings, BOMs (Bills of Material) and required documents to processing to meet schedule requirements.
• Interact with purchasing and vendors concerning parts.
• Perform liaison function between Engineering and all Manufacturing / Service for any design related issues, problems, or improvements.
• Conducts root cause investigation, solves manufacturing / design issues, and implements cost reduction ideas
• Integrate with NPD (New Product Development) to introduce superior technology coordinating with the mechanical requirements of the design
• Prepare with sales preliminary and proposal designs, calculations, and documents
• Mentor, train and teach junior Engineers
• Must champion continuous improvement

Required Skills :

Education and Work Experience :

Salary : $95,000 to $110,000 (dependent on experience)
